Our worship service begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Worshippers may enter through the double-doors facing Hempstead Avenue, which lead directly to the Sanctuary, or through the North door which also faces the street but is closer to the parking lot. The North door has a short flight of stairs. Turn left at the top of the stairs and head towards the Parish Hall (gym/auditorium). Turn left again just before the Parish Hall to enter the Sanctuary. There will be ushers at the front and back of the Sanctuary to greet you and provide you with a program which contains our readings and list of hymns.
On most Sundays, we meet in the parlor directly following services for our fellowship hour. This is a time to greet visitors and new members, engage in conversation and plan and discuss Church activities.
Children may attend our Sunday School classes if they wish. We are able to accommodate babies and toddlers in our nursery when they become restless during the service.
During the summer months, there are no Sunday School classes. We meet for our service in the Parlor, which is air-conditioned.
Anyone having a special prayer request may speak to an usher and have their loved one’s name added to the list.
We welcome all existing and new members and visitors to volunteer as ushers, lectors, fellowship hour hosts, Sunday School teacher or assistant, or to sing in our choir.
Choir practice takes place on Thursday evenings at 8 p.m.
In addition to our regular worship services, we also host baptisms, confirmations, weddings, funerals and memorial services.
